Today is the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux. This is Emily's middle name and primary patron. It is also the name I took at my Confirmation. We celebrated today by making 'rose' colored cup cakes with vanilla icing and 'rose' colored sugar in honor of Therese, the Little Flower. We also learned about Therese and the Little Way and how she did small things for Jesus. We talked about how she can do things like obeying her parents, picking up her toys, and being nice to her sister because she loves Jesus. We asked for St. Therese's intersession for us as we try to follow the Little Way.

I'm trying to get ready for our trip for Rome so I don't have time to post the pictures of the cupcakes now. I'll get back to it later if I get the chance.
